Season: Depends on coach & team. Senior Teams (Under 15 & older) will start over the summer.  Junior teams begin practice in August, others in September, schedule will be based on team need/availability. The USA regular junior season (U9 - U14, usually 14 games) starts the 3rd or 4th weekend of October with breaks for Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays (follows public school schedule). The season ends the middle of February.

Time: Seminole FC-Competitive teams practice 2 to 3 times a week for one & one-half hours (1.5 hrs) at a time (3 hours total). Individual or small group keeper training adds an hour to one-and-a-half hours a week. Some teams gather for casual fitness training & team bonding activities (bike rides, beach soccer, etc) as well. Pick-up soccer games at Seminole Rec (for kids & adults) are growing in popularity as well.

Travel: For an idea of how much travel is involved for each age group, click the following link for the 2014-15 USA Soccer League Team schedule. Given the number of local clubs, Central Pinellas teams usually have the least amount of travel for away games

Tournaments: Again, the number & location depends on coach & team. Tournaments occur year round, with a number of others held in the greater Tampa Bay area throughout the year. Disney hosts several as well in February, May, July, August & September at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
